Explore Toledo & Segovia on a guided full-day tour.
The Toledo & Segovia full-day tour gives you the opportunity to experience two historic cities in the heart of Spain. Each located just over an hour's drive from Madrid, Toledo and Segovia are both UNESCO World Heritage old towns, packed with historic architecture. On arrival in each town, our experienced live guide will lead you on a 60-minute walking tour, sharing facts and stories about the town's history, distinctive buildings, unique traditions and culture. Tours are available in both English and Spanish. Also included is an immersive experience at an ancestral sword making workshop, along with free time to explore each town on your own. Please note: Guided tours of the Alcázar Cathedral in Segovia will be available as an optional add-on from 1st April 2024 - this can be selected via the date calendar at check-out.

Departure and return times.
The Toledo & Segovia Tour departs depart from Stop #1 (Fuente Neptuno) at 9:00am daily.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
The duration of this tour is approx. 12 hours, you will return back to Madrid at 8.30pm.

This tour takes you to Toledo & Segovia's most beautiful buildings, famous landmarks and historical attractions. In Toledo our walking tour will take you past the Cathedral, through Zocodover Square and you'll admire the skyline from the Viewpoint of the Valle, where the tour will stop to allow you time to take pictures. In Segovia the walking tour passes the famous Aqueduct, Royal Street and Main Square, the Cathedral of Segovia and the majestic castle of El Alcázar de Segovia. You'll also have free time in both towns to explore independently.

The tour includes an immersive visit to an artisanal workshop in Toledo that specialises in the ancient craft of sword making, preserved since medieval times. See bladesmiths at work with the coal forge and hammer, and admire the artisinal skills of inlay and engraving.

Our Toledo & Segovia Experience tour includes two 60-minute guided walking tours. In Toledo, you'll see famous architecture like the Toledo Cathedral, the Jewish Quarter and the Alcázar de Toledo. In Segovia, you'll visit the Aqueduct of Segovia, admire the Plaza Mayor and the gothic Cathedral of Santa María, take photos at the viewpoint of Canaleja, and discover the fairytale palace of Alcázar de Segovia. On both tours, our expert local guides will share the ancient stories of these two medieval towns and their historic Christian, Muslim and Jewish cultures.
Visit El Alcázar of Segovia
Optional visit to a famous medieval castle.
The Toledo & Segovia Experience Tour includes the optional addition of a 30-minute guided tour of the majestic El Alcázar Castle in Segovia. Built in the 12th century, El Alcázar is one of the most famous medieval castles in the world, and one of the most visited landmarks in Spain. It has been home to 22 Castilian kings, inspired Walt Disney's Cinderella Castle, and was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. The optional El Alcázar visit will be available to add on from April 1, 2024 at a cost of €10.00. Please select your option in the date selection calendar at check-out.

On the day of your tour, please arrive 15 minutes in advance of departure and show your booking confirmation (printed or on your device) to Big Bus Tours staff before boarding the dedicated bus.
