About the Ávila & Segovia Experience Tour

Embark on a captivating journey to the heart of Spain on our Avila and Segovia full-day trip. This adventure takes you from Madrid to two of Spain's most historic and picturesque cities, both UNESCO World Heritage sites. You’ll explore Avila's medieval walls and Segovia's awe-inspiring Roman aqueduct, discovering a unique blend of Romanesque and Gothic architecture along the way. On arrival in each town, our experienced live guide will lead you on a 60-minute walking tour, sharing facts and stories about the town's history, distinctive buildings, unique traditions and culture. Tours are available in both English and Spanish. Also included is free time to explore each town on your own. Please note: Guided tours of the Alcázar Cathedral in Segovia are available as an optional add-on - this can be selected via the date calendar at check-out.

Can I bring my luggage on the bus?

No, luggage is not permitted on board the bus.

Are discounts available for specific age groups?

Yes, discounted tickets are available for guests aged 65+, and children aged 5–15. Children under 4 may travel free of charge but must sit on their caregiver's lap when the service is full. Please see our Tickets & Passes page for more details on ticket prices.

Can I smoke or vape on the bus?

No, smoking or vaping of any substance is not permitted on the bus.

What happens if I miss the bus?

For our Madrid bus tour, you can simply hop on the next bus that arrives at the stop.

For our out-of-town day trips, please go to Stop #1 (Fuente Neptuno) and speak to a Big Bus Tours staff member.

Can I bring a pet on board the bus?

Only service animals are allowed on board. We do not permit other pets on our buses to ensure the comfort and safety of all our passengers.

Can I eat and drink on the bus?

No, eating and drinking is not permitted on the bus.
