Highlights
The USS Pampanito (SS-383) is a real WWII submarine, docked in San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf. The submarine is open to visitors and acts as both museum and memorial to the 'Silent Service': the covert submarine operations of the U.S. Navy.
Opening hours: daily, 9:30am - 5:30pm (June, July, August); 9:30am - 5:00pm (September-May)
