Hop-on, Hop-off Tours

Explore Muscat at your own pace with our flexible hop-on, hop-off sightseeing tours, available on days when cruise ships are in port. Our hop-on, hop-off bus tours are the only flexible sightseeing tours of Muscat, and give you the freedom to plan your own itinerary and explore the best of Muscat’s landmarks for as little or as long as you like. Hop off the tour as many times as you like within the validity period of your ticket and simply hop on again when you're ready. Please note: On days when cruise ships aren't in port, we operate 2 non-stop, panoramic tours per day, departing from Stop #1 at 10:30am or 2:30pm. Duration is approx. 1 hour 45 minutes.

I have a few hours' stopover between my flights and would like to take a tour. Where is the nearest start point to the airport?

Hay As Saruf (Stop #3) is the nearest stop to Muscat International airport, roughly 22km away.

How much does the tour cost?

Where can I buy a ticket for the tour?

You can purchase tickets on this website here. Alternatively, you can purchase a ticket at most Muscat hotels, from the main Big Bus Tours departure point at Mutrah Souk (Stop #1), or on the bus at any stop.

How will I know where to get off?

The pre-recorded commentary on the bus will announce each stop by number and location as the bus approaches. Please refer to our routes & maps information to plan which stops you would like to hop off at.
