Stop Closures: Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd October, 2022

Dear Customers,

Please note, due to the London Mini Marathon taking place on Saturday 1st October and the London Marathon taking place on Sunday 2nd October, our service will be subject to significant diversions and stop closures to accommodate these events. Please see below for a full list of service amendments.

Saturday 1st October:

  • Stop 10 (Craig's Court) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 11 (Horseguards) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 12 (Whitehall) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 13 (London Eye (Eastbound)) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 19 (Temple Underground station) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 20 (Westminster Pier) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 24 (Buckingham Palace) – CLOSED all day

Sunday 2nd October:

  • Stop 10 (Craig's Court) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 11 (Horseguards) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 12 (Whitehall) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 13 (London Eye (Eastbound)) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 17 (London Bridge) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 18 (Tower of London) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 19 (Temple Underground station) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 20 (Westminster Pier) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 22 (College Green) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 23 (Tothill Street) – CLOSED all day
  • Stop 24 (Buckingham Palace) – CLOSED all day
  • Thames River Cruise – our customers that have a one-way trip included in their Big Bus ticket can travel in both directions (between Westminster & Tower of London) on the River Cruise on Sunday 2nd October.

Normal service will resume on Monday 3rd October, 2022.

We are delighted to announce that our London bus tours are operating daily.

Please note that our during the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace, we are unable to drive along the side of Buckingham Palace. Please see below for times and dates that this takes place:

  • Wednesday: 10:00am –12:30pm
  • Friday: 10:00am –12:30pm
  • Sunday: 10:00am –12:30pm

Evening Tour:
Departure #1: 6:00pm from Stop #13: London Eye (Westminster Bridge Road (bus stop next to Lion Statue, outside London Marriot County Hall)
Duration: 2 hours (approx.)
Bus Frequency: one Night Tour per evening.

2022 Service Amendment Dates:

Big Bus Tours London service may affected by road closures on the following dates. In these circumstances, some stops may be closed, frequency may be affected, or service on one or all routes may be partially curtailed. On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events. We will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions on this page or via our free app. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to contact us.
