Changes Affecting Travel

Route diversions and stop closures

Our service will be subject to route diversions and stop closures between Friday, March 6th - Saturday, April 18th, 2026, due to the road closures near the White House due to secret service activity. The Stop #15 (Constitution Gardens) will be closed during this period.

Road closures and delays

Our tours will be subject to some road closures and delays between Saturday, April 11th, 2026 - Sunday, April 12th, 2026 due to multiple events. Please see below for details:

On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events. We will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions via this page online or on our free app.

Note: Please arrive in good time to secure your seat. The Sunset Tour operates on a loop, and is not a hop-on, hop-off tour. Tour times are subject to traffic, weather and other events, so please contact us or check with a member of staff for the most up-to-date Sunset Tour scheduling information. Sunset Tours are not in operation from January through March 1st.
