Official Statue City Cruises tickets for Liberty & Ellis Island

Statue City Cruises is the only official and authorized ferry service to the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island. A trip to New York wouldn’t be complete without visiting the world-famous Statue of Liberty National Monument and historic Ellis Island (home to the Ellis Island Immigration Museum). T&Cs: The Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island Ferry operates from 9:00am to 3:00pm with regular departures from Battery Park. Ferry schedules may vary, so please confirm departure times on the Statue City Cruises website prior to your visit. Wait times for security and boarding may be longer during busy periods. You will need to redeem your ticket voucher with a Big Bus Tours staff member before heading to the ferry terminal. On arrival, you will need to pass through a security checkpoint before boarding the ferry, but do not join this line without first retrieving your ferry ticket. Please allow 30 minutes prior to boarding for this security check. This ticket includes a ferry journey to both Liberty Island and Ellis Island, but not interior monument or museum access. Please note that our retail price includes a USD $2.00 per person transaction fee.

Are accommodations available for persons with disabilities?

Yes, 100% of our New York fleet is wheelchair accessible. The wheelchair lifts on our vehicles have a maximum capacity of 650 pounds. If you require a different accommodation, please contact us 48 hours prior to your planned tour commencement so we can make arrangements for an accommodation. Please note that messages left on the office general voicemail do not constitute confirmed arrangements. Please also note that passengers with mobility impairments may not be able to access the upper deck on our buses. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of the various attractions along the tour.

How will I know where to get off?

The pre-recorded commentary on the bus will announce each stop by number and location as the bus approaches. Please refer to our routes & maps information to plan which stops you would like to hop off at.

Which days do the tours operate?

What is the child ticketing policy?

Passengers aged between 3 and 12 years must travel on a child ticket. All passengers under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a passenger over the age of 15. Children aged 2 years and under may travel free of charge. Strollers must be folded and stowed on the lower deck.
