You can hop on and hop off the bus at any stop to visit attractions and places of interest, or you're welcome to sit back and relax for the entire tour!
What can I see and visit in Munich?
Munich is full of beautiful landmarks, architecture, neighbourhoods and things to do, and our three tour routes feature stops at all the must-visit landmarks, including Nymphenburg Palace and Olympiapark on the Purple Line, the English Garden, Alte Pinakothek Art Museum and Leopoldstraße on the Blue Line, and Marienplatz's famous Freuenkirche and the Glockenspiel, Viktualienmarkt and pretty Haidhausen on the Red Line.
Do tours operate daily?
Yes, our bus tours operate daily. In very rare circumstances our service might be curtailed or suspended due to city events or poor weather. Please visit our service information page for up-to-date information about current service.
Please note that tour duration is subject to traffic and road closures. If you plan to hop on and hop off the tour, please allow for more time.
Do I need to specify my travel date?
Yes. During booking, you will need to select the date you'd like to take the tour. If your ticket validity is for two or more days, it must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at the time of booking will be the first date of your tour. Some tickets will also require you to select a time of travel, to guarantee your seat. If your ticket includes any extra inclusions, you may also need to book entry dates and times for these after completing your purchase. Please see your booking confirmation email for further instructions.
How do I redeem my ticket?
To redeem your ticket, please present your booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to staff at our Welcopme Center / Ticket Shop by Stop #1 (Hauptbahnhof Station, Luisenstraße 4, 80333 München, outside Elisenhof). Staff will issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity period of your ticket.

You can start and end your tour at any stop (unless it’s a panoramic ‘non-stop’ tour). Tours officially commence and conclude at Stop #1 (Hauptbahnhof Station, Luisenstraße, outside Elisenhof).
Are child tickets available?
Yes. Child tickets are available for children between the ages of 5–15. Children under 5 may travel free of charge. All children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
I bought a ticket for someone else, but it has my name on it, is this ok?
Yes. The person taking the tour will need to present the booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to our sales team staff at the Welcome Center / Ticket Shop by Stop #1 (Hauptbahnhof Station). Staff will scan the QR code and present the guest with a ticket that can be used to board the tour. Tickets must be retained for hopping on the bus - please note that tickets cannot be replaced if lost.
Are buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, most of our buses are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us before booking by chatting with our friendly customer services team – just click the red chat button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Is food and drink permitted on the bus?
Drinks in closed containers are permitted. Food is not permitted.
Can I bring my dog on the bus?
Yes, dogs are very welcome.
Is there a discount available for groups?
No, there is no discount available for group bookings.
Are buses available for private hires and charters?
No, buses are not available for private hires and charters.
Can I change the date (and time) of my tour?
Yes. If you want to change the date (and time) of your tour booking, we’ll need to know no later than 72 hours before your currently booked tour date and time. The speediest way to make changes to your booking is to chat with our friendly customer services team – just click the red chat button in the bottom right corner of your screen, or submit a request via our Contact Us Form.
