Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. During your tour, you can listen to pre-recorded commentary, available in 9 different languages. You can hop on and hop off the bus at any stop to visit attractions and places of interest, or you're welcome to sit back and relax for the entire tour!
What can I see and visit in Munich?
Munich is full of beautiful landmarks, architecture, neighbourhoods and things to do, and our two tour routes feature stops at all the must-visit landmarks, including Nymphenburg Palace, BMW World, Olympiapark, Schwabing and the English Garden on the Orange Line. On the Green Line, highlights include Alte Pinakothek, Neue Pinakothek, Gemäldegalerie, Odeonsplatz, Nationaltheater, Marienplatz, Rathaus, Frauenkirche, Viktualienmarkt, Hofbräuhaus, Karlsplatz (Stachus) and Eisbach.

Yes, our bus tours operate daily. In very rare circumstances our service might be curtailed or suspended due to city events or poor weather. Please visit our service information page for up-to-date information about current service.
Please note that tour duration is subject to traffic and road closures. If you plan to hop on and hop off the tour, please allow for more time.
How do I redeem my ticket?
To redeem your ticket, please present your booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to staff at the blue kiosk by Stop #1 (Karlsplatz / Stachus, located near Karlsplatz 21, on Sonnenstraße, next to BUDDY Hotel). Staff will issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity period of your ticket.
Alternatively, you can present your booking confirmation to the bus driver when you hop on from any other stop.

You can start and end your tour at any stop. Tours officially commence and conclude at Stop #1 (Karlsplatz/Stachus) on Sonnenstraße next to BUDDY Hotel.
Are child tickets available?
Yes. Child tickets are available for children between the ages of 4–14. Children under 4 may travel free of charge. All children aged 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
I bought a ticket for someone else, but it has my name on it, is this ok?
Yes. The person taking the tour will need to present the booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to our sales team staff at the Welcome Center / Ticket Shop by Stop #1 (Hauptbahnhof Station). Staff will scan the QR code and present the guest with a ticket that can be used to board the tour. Tickets must be retained for hopping on the bus - please note that tickets cannot be replaced if lost.
Are buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes
Is food and drink permitted on the bus?
Drinks in closed containers are permitted. Food is not permitted.
Can I bring my dog on the bus?
Yes, dogs are very welcome.
Is there a discount available for groups?
Yes, a discount is available for groups of 15+. This discount is only applicable for tickets booked through our sales staff at Stop #1 (Karlsplatz/Stachus). Alternatively, please contact us.
Are buses available for private hires and charters?
Yes. If you have a ticket that's 'fully flexible' you can change the date (and time) of your bus tour booking without charge. To make the change, please contact us.
If you don't have a 'fully flexible' ticket, we can still change the date of your bus tour, but please be aware that charges may apply.
What does hop-on, hop-off mean?
'Hop-on, hop-off' means that you can join and leave our bus tours from any stop on the route your ticket permits you to travel on, as often as you like during the validity of your ticket. Of course, you are very welcome to stay and relax on the bus for the full duration of the route as well.
