Service Disruptions

On Sunday, May 17th, 2026, between 9:00am – 10:30am, due to the Zayed Charity Running Race - Budapest, the following stops will be affected:

Stop #3 (József Attila str.) - CLOSED
Stop #6 (Andrássy Ave) - CLOSED
Stop #7 (Opera) - CLOSED
Stop #8 (Liszt Ferenc Square) - CLOSED
Stop #9 (Heroes Square) - CLOSED
Stop #16 (Castle Garden) - CLOSED
Stop #17 (Funicular) - CLOSED
Stop #18 (Batthyány Square) - CLOSED
Stop #19 (Margaret Bridge) - CLOSED

Permanent stop closures

Stops #5 (Astoria) and #12 (Astoria) are currently closed until further notice.

Temporary Stop Closure Due to UEFA Champions League

Please be advised that due to preparations for the UEFA Champions League, Stop #10 (Puskás Ferenc Stadium) will be temporarily closed from Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 until Saturday, June 6th, 2026.

Green Line Service Suspension

Due to ongoing construction works in the 5th District, the Green Line service will be suspended starting Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 until Tuesday, September 1st, 2026.

Closure Dates

On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events. We will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions via this page online or on our free app.
