Do I need to choose a date for my tour?
Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. How do I redeem my ticket?
To redeem your ticket, please go to Stop #1 (Massachusetts State Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116) 15 minutes in advance of your chosen tour time. Present your booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to a uniformed Big Bus Tours staff member in exchange for your ticket.
Is there a discount available for groups?

Are child tickets available?
Yes. Child tickets are available for children between the ages of 3–12. Children 2 and under may travel free of charge but must sit on their caregiver's lap when the service is full. Buggies and pushchairs must be stowed on the lower deck. All children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Are buses wheelchair accessible?
Yes, most of our buses are wheelchair accessible. To allow us to make arrangements for the day of your tour, please contact us before booking by chatting with our friendly customer services team – just click the red chat button in the bottom right corner of your screen or submit a request via our Contact Us Form.
I bought a ticket for someone else, but it has my name on it, is this ok?
Yes. The person taking the tour will need to present the booking confirmation (printed or on a device) to a uniformed staff member before hopping on the bus. Staff will scan the QR code and present the guest with a ticket that can be used to board the tour. Tickets must be retained for hopping on the bus - please note that tickets cannot be replaced if lost.
Can I change the date (and time) of my bus tour?
Yes. If you have a ticket that's 'fully flexible' you can change the date (and time) of your bus tour booking without charge. To make the change, please contact us.
If you don't have a 'fully flexible' ticket, we can still change the date of your bus tour, but please be aware that charges may apply.
Is food and drink permitted on the bus?
Drinks in closed containers are permitted. Food is not permitted.
Are pets permitted on the bus?
No, pets are not permitted on board the bus. Service animals (e.g. guide dogs) are permitted on board the bus to support guests with special needs. Please note that the care for and supervision of a service animal is solely the responsibility of its owner, and we reserve the right to exclude any service animal whose behaviour disrupts the tour or poses a direct threat to the health or safety of others on board.
