    Our Abu Dhabi bus tours feature pre-recorded commentary which offers fascinating insights into Abu Dhabi's history, culture, architecture and landmarks. The commentary is available in the following languages:

    Commentary can be accessed via complimentary headphones, distributed when you board the bus. Simply plug them in to the audio transmitter on the seatback and select your preferred language channel. You are also welcome to listen to commentary via your own wired headphones.

Big Bus Tours offers sightseeing tours of Abu Dhabi on open-top double-decker buses, with pre-recorded commentary available in a choice of different languages. You're free to hop on and hop off the bus at any of our stops to visit attractions and places of interest. There are two different routes to explore: discover the city on our Red Route, or hop on our Green Route to pay a visit to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Which days do the tours operate?

Big Bus Tours Abu Dhabi operates every day of the year, even throughout the summer. For further information on our tour schedule, please visit our Service Information page.

What time does the tour start and how long does it take?

Our Red Route bus tour operates between 09:00 – 17:00, and the full tour duration is about 1 hour, 50 minutes if you do not hop on and hop off the tour.
Our Green Route bus tour operates between 12:00 – 16:30, and the full tour duration is about 2 hours, 30 minutes if you do not hop on and hop off the tour.

Do I need to choose a date for my tour?

Yes – when you book, you will need to select the date you’d like to hop on the bus. If you’re touring with us for more than one day, your ticket must be used across consecutive days, and the date you select at time of booking should be the first day of your tour. Some tours also require you to select a time of travel, to secure your seat. If your ticket has extra inclusions, you may also need to book dates and times for these inclusions after your purchase is complete via our Booking Portal. How much does the tour cost?

Which stop is closest to the airport?

City Tour (Red Route): Stop #1 (Abu Dhabi Mall) is the nearest Red Route stop to Abu Dhabi International airport (approx. 30 minutes' drive).
Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Shuttle (Green Route): Haltestelle Nr. 2 (Scheich-Zayid-Moschee) ist die nächstgelegene Haltestelle der Grünen Route zum internationalen Flughafen Abu Dhabi (ca. 15 Autominuten).

Is there a discount available for groups?

Are tickets available for children?

Yes, child tickets are available for children between the ages of 5–15. Children under 5 may travel free of charge. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

How will I know where to get off?

The pre-recorded commentary on the bus will announce each stop by number and location as the bus approaches. Please refer to our routes & maps information to plan which stops you would like to hop off at.

How do I redeem my ticket?

Show your booking confirmation (printed or on your device) to a member of staff at one of our stops or aboard the bus. They'll issue you a receipt that you'll be able to use to hop on the bus throughout the validity of your ticket.

Are the buses wheelchair accessible?

Yes, most of our buses are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us for further information.

Can I change the date (and time) of my bus tour?

Yes. If you have a ticket that's 'fully flexible' you can change the date (and time) of your bus tour booking without charge. To make the change, please contact us.

If you don't have a 'fully flexible' ticket, we can still change the date of your bus tour, but please be aware that charges may apply.
