USS Intrepid

This aircraft carrier was built for service in WWII, and later served in the Vietnam War. She notably recovered a Gemini space mission in 1965. Once torpedoed, and hit on four separate occasions by Japanese Kamizaze aircraft, she was finally decommissioned in 1974.

Space Shuttle Pavilion

Explore 17 immersive exhibition zones that showcase original artifacts, photographs, audio, and films, with a central focus on the space shuttle Enterprise, the prototype NASA orbiter that paved the way for America’s successful space shuttle program.

Submarine Growler

Get a glimpse into life aboard a submarine on Growler - the only American guided missile submarine open to the public. This unusual exhibit also gives visitors the chance to make a close-up inspection of the once "top-secret" missile command center.

British Airways Concorde

Reminisce back to the days of 1996, when an Atlantic air crossing took less than three hours. The record-breaking Concorde Alpha Delta G-BOAD aircraft is on display at the Intrepid Museum’s Pier 86.
