Changes Affecting Travel

Service Disruption

Due to ongoing construction works, Stop #10 – Sports District / Sandman Hotel Downtown will be temporarily relocated to 775 Cambie Street (behind the CBC Building) from July 7th to July 20th.

Stop Closure

Please note that Stop #14 – Gastown Vancouver Lookout (located at 300 Richards Street, next to Ignite Pizza) will be closed all day on Wednesday, July 8 due to the Gastown Grand Prix Bike Race 2026.

Service Disruption

Please note that the Gastown Pedestrian Zone will be in effect between Sunday, July 5th until Sunday, September 6th, 2026.

Water Street will be fully closed from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Stop #14 (Gastown) will be open only Monday to Saturday.
Stop #15 (Gastown) will be open only on Sundays starting Sunday, July 5th until Sunday, September 6th, 2026.

Temporary Location:
1000 West Cordova (beside the Fairmont Pacific Rim driveway)

Closure Dates

Big Bus Tours Vancouver service is occasionally affected by road closures. In these circumstances, some stops may be closed, frequency may be affected, or service may be partially or fully curtailed. On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for expected and unplanned city events. We will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions on this page, and via email (for customers with existing bookings).
