Changes Affecting Travel

Road Closure

Due to a road closure at Eyre Place, the Britannia Tour (Blue Route) will be subject to diversions and delays from June 8 to June 15, 2026.

All stops will continue to be served as normal.

However, due to the nature of delays and service frequency during this period, Stop #7 will be used on a drop-off only basis.

Service Disruption

Our tours will be subject to stop closures between Saturday, June 6th - Sunday, June 7th, 2026, due to road works; therefore Stop #2 (St Andrew Square) will be unavailable.

Service Disruption

City tour buses will divert on June 7th, 2026 between 10:15 and 13:00 to avoid Queen’s Park. No stops will be missed.

Due to a public procession, City Tours will be subject to delays and diversions between 09:00 and 16:00 on June 9, 2026.

Service Disruption

Ongoing all-day roadworks and a road closure at the Shore mean that Stop #6, George IV Bridge is out of service between Saturday, June 6th - Saturday, June 27th 2026. We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

Road Closure

Due to a road closure at Cowgate, Old Town, the Edinburgh City Tour (Red Route) will be subject to last-minute diversions and possible cancellations, depending on traffic volume, from June 14 to June 16, 2026.

Closure Dates

On rare occasions, we may need to temporarily suspend all service in the instance of very poor weather or for unplanned city events. We will do our best to notify customers of any service amendments or suspensions on this page or via our free app.
