Right in the heart of Dublin’s historic Liberties district, Teeling Whiskey Distillery offers a fully immersive experience for whiskey lovers and curious travellers alike. Opened by brothers Jack and Stephen Teeling in 2015, it’s the first new distillery to open in Dublin in over 125 years - and it’s just across the road from the site where their ancestor, Walter Teeling, was distilling back in 1782.
Today, Teeling is where tradition meets innovation. You’ll find a working distillery with three copper pot stills, a stylish Bang Bang Bar, an artisan café, a boutique shop, and a private event space - all packed into one unique space.
A Glimpse of the Past
Whiskey making and entrepreneurship have been in the Teeling genes since as far back as 1782 when Walter Teeling set up a small craft distillery on Marrowbone Lane in Dublin city. Since 2015, Jack and Stephen Teeling, the latest generation of Teeling Whiskey makers, have been putting their own mark on Irish whiskey, when they proudly opened the new Teeling Whiskey Distillery just down the road from where the original family distillery once stood.

Each one includes a guided walk through the distillery and a tasting of Teeling’s award-winning whiskeys, led by a knowledgeable Teeling Whiskey Ambassador. - Bang Bang Bar
