The London Aquarium

Next to the London Eye you will find The London Aquarium offering over 50 displays featuring some 350 differing species of marine life. The attraction is both educational and informative as the exhibits are formed from the rivers, lakes and oceans of the world.  There is a stunning array of amazing creatures from predatory sharks to colourful clownfish as well as an interactive 'touch pool’ where you can feed and pet some of the fish.

The Aquarium also operates as a conservation centre where special marine biologists run a state of the art breeding programme for some of the world’s most endangered species of marine wildlife.

The London Eye

One of THE things to do in London while on your  tour is to take a ride on the London Eye, the 450 foot high wheel (135m) which now dominates the London skyline. Towering over Jubilee Gardens on the South Bank of the River Thames, the London Eye has quickly become London's most popular tourist attraction. With stunning views of The Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, St Paul’s Cathedral, Trafalgar Square and Big Ben a 30 minute ride in one of the glass pods is a must!
The London Eye was, at time of construction for the Millennium celebrations, the largest observation wheel ever built.  It weighs a massive 1600 tonnes and is regarded as a modern day wonder and a feat of epic engineering genius. On a clear day you can see for up to 25 miles in any direction with unrivalled panoramic views of the city.
Of course the best views of the London Eye itself are from our bus tour! Don’t forget that our tour guides and representatives are always on hand to help you make the most of your sightseeing tour of London.

The Florence Nightingale Museum

Situated close to St Thomas' hospital is the Florence Nightingale museum which celebrates the life of perhaps the most famous nurse. She was born to a wealthy English family in Italy and was named after the city of Florence where she was born. In Victorian England she spurned the wealthy lifestyle of her parents in order to help those in need and chose to become a nurse. Through her work during the Crimean war she became known as the founder of modern nursing. A gifted statistician, writer, and campaigner, Florence Nightingale was instrumental in changing the face and nature of health care.
At the museum you will be able to see many objects and memorabilia from her lifetime, including many from the Crimean war. The museum also offers modern video displays and information as well as a guided tour, activity sheets and interactive displays aimed towards children.
