The Tower Bridge Experience

The Tower Bridge was opened in the latter part of the 19th century and is now one of the most instantly recognised landmarks in London. Take the lift up to the Bridge walkway high above the River Thames and enjoy unimpeded views of London’s stunning skyline.
The tour of the Bridge will also take you into the engine rooms which house the powerfully maintained steam engines which were once used to lift the massive two-part Bridge to allow shipping to pass through.
Tower Bridge, often mistaken for London Bridge, is one of the most distinctive, iconic images in London. Our Big Bus London sightseeing tour travels over it and offers some truly wondrous photo opportunities.

The Tower of London

William the Conqueror founded the Tower of London nearly a thousand years ago following his famous victory over Harold in 1066. In its history The Tower has served many functions. It has been home to Royalty, a place of imprisonment, the Royal Mint, an armoury and it is now the safe home to the Crown Jewels.
The Yeoman of the  Guard – popularly known as Beefeaters - now have dual duties as protectors of the Tower and as tour guides. They can relate stories of political intrigue relating to King Richard III and the murdered Princes, Henry VIII and his executed wives, Sir Walter Raleigh, Guy Fawkes, Rudolph Hess and many others associated with this extraordinary palace’s unique history.
