The Blue Tour is the most extensive London sightseeing tour.

 

The personal recorded commentary enables you to hear all about London in your choice of 8 languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin and Russian. Complimentary earphones are provided.

 

In addition to the many sightseeing attractions of central London, the Blue Tour travels west to the Victoria & Albert and Science and Natural History Museums - all are free to enter. You will also discover the shopping havens of Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Kensington High Street.

 

Hop-on, Hop-off

 

The hop-on, hop-off facility is a great benefit of the London Bus Tour that enables you to explore the sights at your leisure. There are more than 50 locations where you can get off the bus to visit attractions or explore places of interest.

Boat Cruise on the River Thames

 

Your Big Bus Tour  ticket enables you to hop on and off any of the river boat services operated by our partners, City Cruises.

 

The river cruise includes live commentary and enables you to see London and its attractions from a different perspective. Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Shakespeare's Globe and the Tate Modern Art Gallery are just some of the famous highlights that line the riverside.

 

If you have purchased a 24hr ticket you can travel on the Thames between Westminster Pier and the Tower of London.  If you have purchased a 48hr ticket, the free Thames river cruise also offers the chance to travel all the way to Greenwich and explore the National Maritime Museum and the Greenwich Royal Observatory.  No matter how many times you tour the river, you'll enjoy the sights and will appreciate this distinctive perspective on London.

 

The River Cruise departure times vary, but are approximately every 20 minutes in the Summer and every 30-40 minutes in the Winter. You can board the River Cruise at Tower Pier, Westminster Pier or Waterloo Pier, however please check with our staff on your day of travel.

4 Walking Tours

 

The walks are led by a friendly Big Bus guide; taking you on relaxed walking tours that give you the opportunity to learn about specific parts of London's history. You may join as many of the walks as you wish. 

 

The Royal London Walk - 10.20am

 

Learn about the history of St James’ Palace and Buckingham Palace, putting you in a prime position for the Changing of the Guard Ceremony.

 

The Harry Potter Film Locations Walk - 1pm 
 

This walk reveals 7 London locations which have featured in the Harry Potter Films.

 

The Beatles Walk - 3:30pm

 

Follow in the Beatles' footsteps through Soho and Mayfair. Learn about their rise to stardom and hear about other famous people they met on their way.

  

The Ghosts by Gaslight Walk - 6pm

 

Discover London’s darker history with tales of ghosts, murder and the troubled times that litter London’s past.

 

The Walking Tours last approximately 1½ - 2 hours and leave from Trafalgar Square; Big Bus stop 10 and 37 (outside the Sainsbury's Wing of the National Gallery).
