1. Tell me about the Big Bus Tour?

The Big Bus Tour is a sightseeing tour of Dubai by open-top double decker bus. An informative commentary is provided in a choice of languages. You may hop-on and hop-off at any of the 21 stops to visit attractions, explore places of interest or interchange between the 2 tour routes. The Tour also includes a dhow cruise on Dubai Creek and entry to Dubai Museum and Sheikh Saeed al Maktoum’s House.

 

2. On which days does the tour operate?

The Big Bus Tour of Dubai runs every day of the year, even throughout the summer - all of our buses have custom designed air-conditioning systems to keep you cool even in the heat of the midday sun.

 

3. How frequent are the tour buses?

Tours run every 20 minutes (October to April) and 30 minutes (May to September) on both the City Tour (Red Route) and the Beach Tour (Blue route). The first bus is at 9.00 am and the last departure is 5.00pm. Timings are subject to change so please check with Big Bus staff or contact us

 

4. Where can I visit on the tour?

The are 20 locations where you can hop on and off the bus. Each stop has been selected because it provides easy access to an attraction or place of interest. Please have a look at the Big Bus map of Dubai for more information.

 

5. How long does the tour take?

A complete circuit on the City Tour (Red Route) takes approximately 1.45 hours and a complete circuit on the Beach Tour (Blue Route) takes approximately 2.35 hours. Please allow extra time if you plan to hop-on, hop-off.

 

6. Where can I buy a ticket for the tour?

You can purchase tickets either on this website, on the bus, at most Dubai hotels, or from one of the main Big Bus departure points: Wafi City, City Centre, BurJuman Centre, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Festival City, Souk Madinat Jumeriah and Dubai International Airport. Alternatively please contact us directly.

 

7. Can we join the tour from any of the stops on your route?

Yes. Wafi City is the main starting point for the City Tour (Red Route), Deira City Centre is the main starting point for the Beach Tour (Blue Route) but you may join the tour from any of our 20 Stops. The choice is entirely up to you.

 

9. Is there a commentary available in my language?

The sightseeing tour includes an interesting commentary in a choice of English, Arabic, French, Italian, Russian, German, Hindi and Farsi. The commentary is delivered to you via complimentary earphones that you will receive when you board the bus.

 

10. Is it possible to hire the bus for a private event?

Yes, buses are available for corporate charter and private hires. Air-conditioned double decker buses are also available. Please have a look at our Corporate Charter and Private Hire page to find out more or contact us to discuss your requirements.

 

11. Do you offer group discounts?

Yes discounts are available for groups of twenty or more. For more information on group sales, please contact us.

 

12. What is the child policy?

A child ticket is available for children aged between 5 and 15 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged under 5 can travel free of charge but must be accompanied by a dedicated adult.

 

13. Can I interchange between the Beach Tour and the City Tour?

Your Big Bus ticket provides access to both tour routes. You can use each route as little or as much as you wish during the validity of your ticket.
